Jonathan Berte is a computer vision and AI entrepreneur and the founder and Chairman of the Board of Robovision, the Ghent-based Vision AI company he started in 2008 as a consultancy focused on computer vision and robotics. With a background in applied physics specializing in image processing, he helped build Robovision into a leading AI-powered computer vision platform used across agriculture, manufacturing, healthcare, and other industries. Robovision’s technology is deployed on more than 1,000 machines across more than 45 countries, and Berte continues to help shape the company’s strategic direction while also focusing on its AgTech business unit. He is known for translating advanced machine learning and vision systems into practical tools that allow domain experts to deploy AI in real-world environments.
