All Government-Funded UAP Records Belong in the UAP Records Collection at the National Archives

Congress established the UAP Records Collection at the National Archives. The collection brings together government, government-provided, and government-funded records relating to unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP). This policy brief examines why records held by federally funded research and development centers belong in that collection and calls on those centers and their sponsoring agencies to work together to identify and transfer them in accordance with federal law.
