Executive Director Jordan Flowers joined CBS News Prime Time to discuss the fourth release of federal records concerning unidentified anomalous phenomena. CBS reported that the release spans forty files, including nineteen videos, as well as material from the Pentagon, NASA, the CIA, the FBI, and the Department of Energy.

Flowers highlighted three images attributed to the 1996 Columbia shuttle mission that appear to show a triangular object in low Earth orbit. He said the imagery warrants further review and discussed the Disclosure Foundation's independent effort to examine NASA archival material for additional records that may provide context.

Flowers also cautioned that video clips alone cannot establish what an object represents or whether it displays unusual performance. He called for the release of supporting metadata, including kinematic and sensor information, so independent analysts can evaluate the material scientifically and consider ordinary explanations alongside more unusual possibilities.

Many of these videos could be explained prosaically, which is why we need more data to go along with these videos. What are the kinematics, the things that are blocked out in those videos? We need to be able to understand how these things are moving and be able to really run scientific analysis on these things to try and define what we're dealing with here.

The interview concluded with a discussion of how the four releases can be assessed together with public statements from members of Congress following classified briefings. Flowers argued that the cumulative public record deserves careful synthesis and further transparency, rather than conclusions drawn from any single image or video.
